Gharn

God of the Earth and Endurance

Gharn embodies the strength, resilience, and unyielding force of the natural world. He is often depicted as a colossal figure made of stone and soil, with a rugged appearance that mirrors the varied landscapes of the earth.

Gharn is worshipped as the protector and sustainer of the earth. His followers include farmers who seek his blessing for bountiful harvests and stable soils, miners and smiths who delve into the earth’s depths for its hidden treasures, and warriors who draw upon his endurance and steadfastness in battle. Builders and artisans also revere Gharn, using materials blessed in his name to construct fortresses and monuments meant to stand the test of time.

Order of Gharn

Temples dedicated to Gharn are widespread, reflecting his vast following. Constructed from stone and marble, these imposing structures can be found in numerous cities across the realm. Each temple stands as a testament to Gharn’s enduring nature, featuring architectural designs that integrate the robustness and stability of the earth. These sacred spaces are often located at the heart of communities, symbolizing Gharn's foundational role in the lives of his followers and their deep connection to the earth.

Overseeing the temples is the Paladin Order of Gharn, a formidable group of knights devoted to protecting the sanctity of Gharn's worship. These paladins, often selected from orphanages or rescued as children with innate magical potential, are trained from a young age in the arts of combat and magic. They remain aloof from the political machinations and military conflicts of the kingdoms, focusing solely on their sacred duties. Their primary roles include guarding the temples, ensuring the safety of worshippers, and venturing out to combat or cull dangerous monsters that threaten the local communities. Through their valor and dedication, the Paladins of Gharn uphold the god’s legacy of endurance and protection.
